John Saint Ryan is a renowned Equine Behavior Consultant and esteemed Practitioner Member of the International Society for Equitation Science. Born in England and raised in Ireland, John's journey in life has been nothing short of remarkable. With a diverse background, he has excelled in various fields.

For 27 years, John passionately taught Martial Arts across Europe, achieving remarkable success as he coached 12 individuals to become National Champions. During this time, he also found enjoyment in horse riding and embarked on an acting career, showcasing his talent in Theatre work in the provinces and the West End. His acting career extended to TV and Film, where he had the privilege of working alongside several star names. Not only did John act, but he also exhibited his creative flair by writing and co-producing several independent films and featuring in international productions.

In 1992, John made a life-changing decision and emigrated to the USA. Shortly after arriving in the States, he had a serendipitous encounter with Ray Hunt, a horse trainer, at Robert Wagner's ranch near LA. Intrigued and captivated by Ray's philosophy and horsemanship, John was directed to the influential figure, Tom Dorrance, to deepen his understanding. Thus began a lasting friendship and mentorship with Tom. Together, they collaborated on producing training videos that garnered immense success, including "Greetings from Tom Dorrance," "Feel, Timing & Balance," and the biographical masterpiece, "Visits with Tom."

Over the years, John's expertise in equine behavior and training blossomed, and he solidified his reputation as a leading Equitation Science educator. His dedication and talent were recognized when he became the USA National Champion Doma Vaquera for three consecutive years in 2004, 2005, and 2006.

Today, John spends his time at his Home Ranch in Southern California, where he imparts his knowledge in Equitation Science, helping both beginners and advanced riders refine their skills. Additionally, he travels across the country, conducting enlightening lectures and clinics on equitation. With an incredible journey spanning continents and multiple disciplines, John Saint Ryan continues to leave an indelible mark on the world of horsemanship and beyond.
