About The Horsemen Collective

The Horsemen Collective is a community built by horse people, for horse people. We film respected trainers working with real horses and add those sessions to a constantly growing library you can download and watch anywhere, even without reception. A single membership unlocks every lesson and connects you with a welcoming space where you can ask questions, swap stories and improve together.

We also give back, dedicating 25 percent of our profits to charities that support horses, the environment and young riders. Sharpen your skills, meet like-minded riders and know your learning makes a real difference.

The Horsemen Collective was created by Lucie and Clay to showcase the horsemen and women they trust for their own advice and training, not to become just another online video library. The platform brings those trusted voices into one place, giving members a growing collection of filmed lessons they can download and revisit whenever they need a refresher.

It will never replace hands-on learning in the arena or on the trail; instead, it sits alongside clinics, books and local mentors as an extra source of clear, practical guidance.

Message from the founders

The Horsemen Collective is an Australian online learning hub and community where riders of every discipline and skill level can connect, share ideas, and improve through a growing library of masterclasses, training modules, and live streamed events.

Community is only part of our purpose. We direct 25 percent of all profits to programs that advance equine welfare, restore and protect the natural environment, and create opportunities for young and disadvantaged people.

Our digital scholarships and clinic placements give the next generation of horsemen and women direct experience with leading trainers, while our charity partners put vital resources straight into paddocks and projects where they make the greatest difference. When you subscribe, you gain more than unlimited access to premium online courses. You join a movement that insists horses be handled with respect and care, and you help fund practical change for animals, people, and the planet.Thank you for riding with us.

Clay Baird

Clay Baird is a seasoned equestrian with a lifelong passion for horses. Growing up in the saddle, he traversed some of the most remote areas of the world, including the Australian High Country and the High Sierra deserts of California's Yosemite National Park.

Alongside his adventures, Clay has worked with renowned trainers worldwide, enriching his knowledge and passion for the equine world.

Beyond his experiences as a horseman, Clay is also a respected clinician and coach, sharing his expertise to inspire others in the equestrian community. As a barefoot trimmer, he advocates for natural hoof care, prioritising the health and well-being of the horses under his care.

In addition to his equestrian pursuits, Clay is also a filmmaker and multimedia designer. It's this diverse skill set that led him to found The Horsemen Collective, a platform dedicated to sharing knowledge from the trainers and individuals he admires.

Through his work as a clinician, coach, barefoot trimmer, and filmmaker, Clay is committed to enriching the equestrian community and fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation for horses. With his unwavering dedication and innovative approach, Clay continues to leave a lasting legacy in the hearts of riders and horses alike.

Lucie Durant

Lucie Durant, co-founder of The Horsemen Collective, brings a unique perspective to the equestrian world. Born in France, Lucie was immersed in the modern dressage scene from a young age.

However, it was in the vast Australian outback where she truly found her passion for horses. Often seen riding bareback and barefooted through the expansive Australian landscapes, Lucie's connection with her equine companions runs deep.

As a horsewoman, Lucie is driven by a relentless desire to absorb as much knowledge as possible. Whether she's engaged in intricate in-hand work or moving cows with equal enthusiasm, Lucie's dedication to her craft is unwavering. Her love for horses transcends disciplines, and she is committed to exploring every facet of horsemanship.

With her background in design and her profound understanding of horsemanship, Lucie co-founded The Horsemen Collective to create a platform where riders can come together to share their passion, knowledge, and experiences.

Through her work, Lucie aims to inspire others to connect with horses on a deeper level and to foster a community where all aspects of horsemanship are celebrated.
